Why We Give
Giving for the Future
At Broward Central Synagogue, we give not out of obligation, but out of gratitude and connection. Everything we have is a blessing, and giving allows us to share those blessings with our community and strengthen Jewish life for generations to come. Through tzedakah (charitable giving), we honor our tradition of kindness and responsibility, helping sustain our synagogue, support those in need and build a vibrant spiritual home rooted in compassion, learning and faith.
A Lifetime of lasting impact
Legacy Giving
Anyone can create a meaningful legacy, whether by designating a small percentage of their estate, a fixed amount or a gift of insurance or stock, to help sustain our synagogue’s future.
Life & Legacy™ was established to encourage temple members and others to create a Jewish legacy by remembering BCS in their wills, trusts, life insurance policies, retirement accounts and other testamentary gifts. Funds donated will build the endowment of the BCS Foundation and provide financial stability for generations to come.
Life & Legacy™ is a structured initiative supported by the Jewish Federation of Broward County and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. Many of our Life & Legacy™ Society members benefit from estate tax-saving strategies in creating their Jewish legacies.
