At Broward Central Synagogue, we believe that learning is the heart of Jewish life. Through study, we not only deepen our knowledge, but we also discover who we are, where we come from and where we are going. Jewish learning shapes our values, inspires our actions and strengthens our sense of purpose.
Every week, learning is alive across our campuses: our early childhood programs welcome more than 350 children, our religious school gathers over 200 students, our Afternoon Hebrew School serves more than 220 learners, and our Hebrew High engages over 50 teens in meaningful study. Our Adult Education program brings together more than 120 adults each week, in person, online or hybrid, to explore Torah, Jewish thought, history and contemporary life.
At Broward Central Synagogue, talmud Torah, the study of Torah, stands at the center of everything we do. Whatever your age, background or level of knowledge, you will find a place to learn, grow and be inspired with us.

Education Program
Early Childhood Center
The Early Childhood Center offers a dynamic, child-centered learning environment where curiosity, creativity and compassion thrive. Through hands-on exploration, play-based experiences and a nurturing community, children build confidence, develop essential skills and discover the joy of learning that lasts a lifetime.
Religious School
Jewish Learning for Kids
We bring Judaism to life through meaningful, joyful learning that inspires children to build a strong Jewish identity and live with purpose, values and connection.
Afterschool Program
Gesher
Gesher is an engaging education program offered three or five days a week at BCS and the David Posnack JCC. Designed as an alternative to traditional religious school, Gesher blends academics, Jewish learning and community for students from Imagine Charter and across Broward County.

High School Program
Hebrew High
For our high schoolers, Jewish life is all about friendship, connection, and making memories together! As part of our Hebrew High program and under the NFTY organization, we’re proud to have BOATY/KAFTY. Our teen-led youth group, run by an incredible teen board. It’s truly about what they want to do, creating experiences that matter to them.
