Lori Becker has been a part of the Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El family since 2012. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with specializations in Jewish Studies and Special Education from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood from Nova Southeastern University. She is VPK certified and holds a Director Credential.
Now entering her 14th year in the Early Childhood Program, first as Curriculum Specialist and now as Assistant Director, Lori is passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging environment where every child feels valued. She partners closely with families and educators to inspire curiosity, model kindness and foster a lifelong love of learning.
TKAE is truly Lori’s second home. Her husband, Todd, and daughters, Saige and Sloan, have been members since 2008. Both girls began in the ECC, became Bat Mitzvah here, served as Youth Group President and spent summers as TKAE counselors.
Outside of work, Lori enjoys family time, walking, reading and cooking. She feels fortunate to be surrounded by such caring teachers, dedicated staff and inspiring clergy.
