Lisa Ben Israel has been part of the Early Childhood team at TKAE since 2022, though she feels like she has been a member of the community much longer. Her children, nieces, and nephews have all attended TKAE’s religious school, and her sister has been a teacher here, making TKAE truly feel like home.

In her early years she managed  after-school programs throughout the Broward County Schools. Later she joined the Israeli/Jewish community while owning Tel-Aviv Kosher Market.  Lisa loves greeting and connecting with families each day and takes great pride in being part of a vibrant, caring Jewish community.  She is also the proud mother of four children, one of whom has been a TKAE camp counselor for the past two summers.

Lisa looks forward to watching both our Temple community and its children continue to grow and thrive each year.
