Jeremiah, Leonard Bernstein and the Prophetic Voice. Join the BCS clergy team and special guests for a unique Tisha B’Av experience as we explore Leonard Bernstein’s powerful Jeremiah Symphony.
Through music, text and conversation, we will reflect on the timeless themes of prophecy, loss, resilience and renewal. Featuring selections from Bernstein’s masterpiece, readings from Jeremiah and Lamentations and guided discussion on what Tisha B’Av asks of us today.
A thoughtful and engaging evening for anyone seeking meaning and inspiration on Judaism’s day of remembrance.
