Healing, Life and Death: Finding Meaning in the Psalms

In this special series, Rabbi Marci Bloch will guide us in a shared conversation about the Book of Psalms, offering teachings along with personal perspectives and experiences.

The Psalms speak to the full range of human experience: joy and gratitude, fear and loss, illness, hope and renewal. Together, our teachers will guide us through selected psalms that give voice to life’s deepest moments: seeking healing, confronting mortality and searching for meaning in times of uncertainty.

Through close reading, reflection and discussion, we will discover how these ancient prayers continue to offer language, wisdom and comfort for the challenges and transitions of our own lives.
